imageCLASS MF6500 Series Laser Multifunction Copiers Offering
Four New Desktop Solutions for Small and Home Offices
What’s
new from Canon Inc? Yes, of course this is a fresh brand new
Canon Desktop Copiers series that expanded by
March 3, 2008. Canon Inc as a leader in document imaging and
office solutions today enlarged its imageCLASS MF6500 Series,
presenting four brand new black-and-white multifunction
Canon desktop copiers to the market. Helping
replace the cost and complexities of managing multiple office
devices, the new imageCLASS MF6540, MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx
devices provide smaller offices to make true copy, print, fax
and scan functionality and flexibility all in one machine. Is
it simple enough?
Canon
Desktop Copiers new imageCLASS models expand
the Company's extensive laser multifunction portfolio and
provide small and home offices with a range of options to
take the right solution for their business. Moving from
multiple single function devices to a single efficient
multifunction laser platform device is inherently more
beneficial in limited office-space environments. The new
imageCLASS models provide a better use of space while also
accommodating all the tasks previously performed by four or
more machines.
The enlarged imageCLASS MF6500
Canon Desktop Copiers Series product offerings
perform black-and-white laser printing at speeds of up to 24
pages-per-minute (ppm)i and copying output at 24
copies-per-minute (cpm). Crisp text and images can be produced
at an enhanced print resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dpi.
Customers can also complete a variety of scanning tasks at
speeds up to 24 ppm monochrome for letter-sized output. Scans
can also be achieved in color from either the platen glass or
the automatic document feeder (ADF) with an interpolated
resolution of up to 9600 dpi. The included OCR (optical
character recognition) software and file managing software
provides even more productivity. For the added benefit of fax
capability, the imageCLASS MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx
incorporate a 33.6 Kbps Super G3 fax. A strong list of fax
features, including 23 one-touch speed dial numbers, 100 coded
speed dial numbers and a 1,000-page memory capacity for the
MF6590, MF6595 and MF6595cx models, PC Faxing, sequential
broadcasting and activity reports make the new imageCLASS
products ideal for customers requiring comprehensive faxing
applications in a compact desktop product.
The imageCLASS MF6500
Canon Desktop Copiers series also incorporates
the Canon Single Cartridge System, which combines the toner and
drum in one easy-to-replace unit, resulting in excellent image
quality retention and eliminating the complication and
warehousing of separate toner and drum consumables.
A further measure of Canon's
commitment to small office/home office customers is the
inclusion of a one year limited warranty with on-site
service.
The imageCLASS MF6540, imageCLASS
MF6590 and imageCLASS MF6595/6595cx meet the ENERGY STAR®
guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE). Canon is a long-time
ENERGY STAR partner, and is a strong advocate of consumer
education of energy-efficient products through its product
labeling and environmental programs. ENERGY STAR is the joint
effort of the EPA and DOE designed to identify and promote
energy efficient products to reduce greenhouse gas
emissions.
